My Question or Issue

I have Spotify login connected with my old FB account. Now I need to login from a new device and via email or any other method. But when I try to add a new method, it give´s me error that "something went wrong" at the time of submitting new details+password. I have no idea what "went wrong" and would love to have my spotify account available again not only on my PC but also on my phone

Hello!

From what I understand you are trying to log in but some errors occur. This has already happened to me and this is possibly a temporary error, so try again in a few hours or tomorrow, if the error continues, it is best to contact support.

My Question or Issue

I registered for Spotify using my Facebook account for login. Now I'm trying to add an email/password login but, once I get to the point of entering a password, I'm told "Something went wrong, please try again." and I'm receiving a 401 Unauthorized. Assuming Spotify is using HTTP codes correctly, Unauthorized should mean that I'm not authenticated, however, I must be logged in to have made it to that point, so this is a bug in their account system. How do I get that resolved?

I have the same problem, did you resolved it?
