My Question or Issue

I am unable to change my email address to another one. The problem is that when I try to switch to the new email address it says that the email is already taken. When I double check to see if I have an account or not by clicking on forgot password on the new email it then says that the account does not exist. I have also made sure that I did not register my account with facebook.

Any help would be appreciated.
