My Question or Issue

When I attempt to use spotify on either desktop or mobile, I am greeted with an interface like what is shown in the attached image. I am unable to exit this "Premium Pop-up" and use spotify. The only options are to log out or pay for a subscription. I'm wondering, is spotify actually free to use or do I HAVE to pay? If it is free, then how can I get rid of this barrier?

Pop-up on desktop. The mobile one is similar.

Hey @blubblop ,

Thanks for coming to the Community.

Unfortunately, the Free plan is currently not available in South Korea. In order to use Spotify, you must have Premium Individual or Duo.

It is common that not all subscription types are available initially when Spotify launches in a new region. Rest assured, they're always looking into opportunities to expand offers and available subscriptions on a case-by-case basis for each region.

I hope this clears things up 🙂
