Why am I getting ads on Spotify Premium?

Why am I getting ads on Spotify Premium Podcasts? Literally breaks in the podcast with ads posted in from Spotify. The whole point of paying for premium is to avoid this.

Spotify doesn’t play ads that interrupt the music listening experience, however, some podcasts may include advertising, host-read endorsements, or sponsorship messages. There’s more info about this here.

Hi Billy-J! If I try to start a podcast, a standalone audio track starts playing which is also labeled as an ad. After that the podcast starts. I also have a premium account. Can you pleas answer this? Thanks in advice.

Thanks for the reply! In my last reply, I explained that some podcasts may include sponsored messages and advertisements that are not controlled by Spotify, but the podcast host/owner. If you see ads while listening to music, please let me know and I’ll see what to suggest.
