Wrong name in email

Got an email a few days ago again with suggested artists based on what I had listened to. The problem is that the name they sent it to is not mine, nor do I know anyone with that name so it's not someone who has borrowed my account, and the suggested artists are definitely not something I would've listened to and I'm pretty sure I haven't listened to the music which the suggestions are based on.

It's almost as though I've gotten someone else's email with suggested artists. Why? Is it possible that someone hacked my account? The name in those emails is Zach, though my name is Nina. Even got an email twice where it says that my payment failed though everything with the payment actually went fine. Already wrote you twice and only received an automatic answer which obviously could not help me. Could you please solve this problem? Thank you!

Hello? Could anyone please answer/help me? Got another notice concerning a payment failure (obviously for Zach), because I paid (!) and don't won't my account to be closed. And still don't want those emails! By the way, every mail concerning this forum has the name "kanikoh", not Zach in it. Please help me!

Sounds like a more technical issue which will have to be solved by spotify, any scenario with hacking or wrong emails getting sent to people will want to contact Spotify. Here is a link which will hopefully get you started in the right direction. https://support.spotify.com/us/contact-spotify-support/ from there you will want to go through 'account' --> 'other' --> 'I still need help' and explain the issue.

You may also want to look at the emails that are being sent to you and see if they have anything like "wrong person?" or contact info towards the bottom.
