It's possible that you created a new account when trying to log in on your new phone. You can try following the suggestions in this article in order to find your original account, and these steps to close the newly created account.

I need help reconnecting to spotify. Got a new phone and having trouble getting back to my acvount

Need to give you my new email address. Had to get new phone, previous one stolen. So how do I get my music back???

I found a case with loginisation. I tried to log in using Google on the new Macbook. So I found some weird playlists. Like they were 2-years old. 

I opened Spotify on my iphone, settings -> Account -> ID on the top.

So I logged in on Macbook using my Account ID. 

It helped. I have my actual playlists.
