i can’t change the country

i can’t change the country

hi,

i was trying to change the country cause i usually use the thailand one and now change it to australia by accident but i can’t change it back to thailand i clicked on edit profile but i can’t clicked change the country

Keep in mind you can travel anywhere without having to change your account settings if you have a Premium subscription. If you still want to change your country or region, you need to update your payment method to one that's issued there by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your account page.
  2. Under Account, click Update next to your payment method.
  3. Enter a new payment method that was issued in your new country or region.

If you're using the free service, you should be able to change your country or region with the steps below:

  1. Log in to your account page.
  2. Click EDIT PROFILE.
  3. Scroll down to Country or region and select your new one from the dropdown list.
    Note: Your new country or region only shows when you’re actually there.
  4. Click SAVE PROFILE.

Its not help me, i can’t change region

Hello, the same issue, i can't change the "country or region"  even after i changed the payment method to match the country i want to change to. i have a family premium but unable to add members due to different region in some of the phones. would appreciate an advice 

I'm having the same issue, I have a premium account from the UK but have since moved to Pakistan and I can't change the country and to change my billing, as in their guide, the country needs to match the card - so I can't change the card without changing the country and I can't change the country without changing the card.

Thanks for the reply. If you've successfully changed the payment method, then you need to wait for the next billing date. Once the first payment goes through on the new payment method, the country on your account will be updated and everything should work from then on.

My Question or Issue

 

Made a spotify account about 3 weeks ago to be able to listen to music in the US, recently has started showing me "something went wrong" when I tried to change music. Changed my location, tried logging out, wouldn't let me, reinstalled the app and now I'm signed out. 

 

Don't know what else I can do, the app won't let me create a new account or log in my old French account either, just completely bugged. 

 

 

Facing the same issue.

I recently moved to a new country to live with my partner. Now, I can't join his DUO account as my current country under my profile is different. I can't change my country setting unless I have a new payment method issued in this new country. And I can't add that new payment method as "Your payment method and country don't match.". Looks like a dead end circle. 

Honestly for such big company to have basic issues like this is ridiculous. Been having this issue since 2012 it seems. I can't change my country setting unless I have a new payment method issued in this new country.
