I am currently using the free version of spotify and am thinking of upgrading to the premium.

Is it possible to pay 12 or 6 months in advance rather than every month an amount is taken from my credit card?

You can change whether you get charged over 1 or 12 month intervals in your account overview once you've subscribed.

@missyfits Hey! If you have an active Spotify subscription, you can pay for 12 months at once. To get started, just follow these instructions: 

1. Head to the Get Premium page here: https://www.spotify.com/#premium/ 

2. Click Get Premium. 

3. Log in. 

4. Enter your payment details then click Continue. 

5. Click Confirm Payment. 

6. Head to your subscription page: https://www.spotify.com/account/subcription/ 

7. Click For 12 months under Change payment interval and select Change. 

Finished. Your subscription will return to monthly payments after 12 months have elapsed. 

Alternatively, if you don’t want to set up a subscription but would like 12 or 6 months of Spotify Premium, you can buy a Spotify E-card and apply it to your own account.
