It has just come to my attention that I have been getting billed for a premium service that does not work on my phone. I have submitted several messages to Spotify about the service not working and finally just stopped using it. I just now reviewed my Pay-Pal account and found that I have been billed a sum of $99.90 which I would like to have credited back since I have not been able to listen to more than 1 song at a time without having to reboot my phone since my trial subscription ended. I was told by support that the reason was a problem with payment so wanted to revert to regular version of Spotify but that has not happened either. I have not even opened Spotify for more than 6 months now. I also have had to uninstall it from my desktop because it was always initializing itself. Please, if you would be so kind as to credit my account, then there would be no need to take further action. thank you and happy holidays, Crash

Hey Crash,welcome in the community!
This doesn't sound right. Have you tried cancelling the service? Here is how.

If you have a case number # from when you contacted the support before, I can escalate the issue to the right team.

In the meanwhile, you can read this useful article on what to do when Premium doesn't work.

Hey @1250149968

Could you get back to me with the case number for your support request? I'll chase this up for you.

Hi Kate, No, I never opened up a case or anything like that. I had only been a Spotify user for a short time when I tried the trial version of premium. Things went well during this trial but soon after I started having issues. I can't listen to more than one song without the app freezing up and having to reboot my phone. With some difficulty, I finally got an answer saying to try uninstalling and reinstalling the application. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times (each time losing the play lists that I had downloaded) and was growing weary with that. The support team also told me after that headache that there had been problems processing my payment so I thought that I was not getting billed. Since it was causing me so much frustration I just stopped using it altogether. Then the other day I was researching something else in my pay-pal account and found where I have been billed a tolal of $99.90 by Spotify for a service that has not functioned properly during this billing cycle. This is the reason for my request for a refund. Thanks for your time. sincerely, Craig (Crash) Tolbert

Hi Pete, I don't have a case number as of now. Just have sent a reply to another member of your team, I can forward it to you if you want or if you can't track it down yourself. have a good weekend, Crash
