My Question or Issue
Hello support team,
I found an annoing problem during switch on/off the Equalizer on my Pixel 2 latest Patch (May 2018).
The issue is reproducible on my device.
Turn off the buildin EQ from Spotify App -> left the EQ menue -> go back to EQ menue -> turn on the EQ => problem occurs.
The problem description:
My setting from Music Quality, Streaming and Download = Extreme quality get set to default by this glitch, bug to Streaming = Automatic quality and Download = Normal quality.
Do you have any idea how to fix this?
Best,
G
Hey, thanks for reaching out.
I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstallation of the app. Just follow the steps here.
If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?
I'll see what I can suggest!
Hey @k_d5e9-qvs9je,
If you can, could you please list all the troubleshooting steps you have tried by yourself?
Also is it possible for you to try it on another device with similar specs?
Thanks in advance 🙂
I haven't had this issue on any device I used before. (I cannot remember the opposite)
This must be a device specific problem.
I have not tried any troubleshooting steps.
Best,
Mike
Please try the troubleshooting steps I sent you earlier and tell me if they do work or not.
