Solved! Go to Solution.
Not fixed on mine unless I keep the EQ off. In fact I think its worse.
In fact Im starting a new thread on this as this has been closed as fixed.
What would be the name of the new thread? Sound quality on Nexus 5 worsened dramatically after 6.0.1 update. I think of moving to Apple Music. The variety of tracks on Apple Music just stops me now.
Did the issue ever get solved? The quality is still scratchy and sounds terrible very staticky.
Please HELP!
This quality is driving me MAD!
I have opened a new thread regarding this issue since this one is incorrectly labeled as "Solved" (turning off EQ does not fix it according to my experience and MANY comments in this thread). The new thread is here -> New Thread on Marshmallow Bluetooth Noise Problems.
If you are still experiencing this issue, please post in that thread so that we can get it solved (I will not mark that thread as solved until everyone agrees it is fixed).
If you have solved this problem, then please let us know either in this thread or my new thread.
After some upgrade of spotify this is fixit. Currently im in Android 7.1.2
Thank you for the feedback, but this is definitely not the case for me. I have the latest Spotify and Android version installed and the problem is still there.
This problem is NOT solved for me at all. Please stop replying that it was "fixed a long time ago" unless you also are going to outline the exact solution that fixed it so that I can apply that solution to fix this problem.
I have the latest version of Marshmallow installed, the latest Spotify, and I still have random clicks, pops, and stutters in the background on 3 different bluetooth sound systems. To be clear, Bluetooth fidelity sounds great from Android -- the audio quality sounds better than the same music from iPhone/iPad because Android supports AptX Bluetooth -- but the problem is that random pops and stutters in the background ruin the sound and these occur only on the Android Marshmallow tablet. This noise doesn't occur from iPhone/iPad or an older Android phone running an earlier Android OS. It's not my sound system, because 3 different audio systems all have background noise only when driven by Android Marshmallow.
