Bug - Beta & Official release. Losing offline playlists repeatedly

Bug - Beta & Official release. Losing offline playlists repeatedly

I'm still getting a very frustrating error that was present in the beta.

I set a lot of playlists for offline listening, as I like to hike where there is very little or no cell phone reception.  I keep getting an error where as soon as Spotify loses connection, my offline files stop playing, and all of my playlists disappear.  When they reappear (when I get signal again), everything I downloaded is gone!  This also just happened to me even without losing signal, I'm at home on WiFi and the app completely deleted about 10 of my offline playlists.  Funny thing is, older playlists seem to be just fine, it's really just the more recent additions.

Please fix this; it happens to me once or twice a day, forcing me to return home and resync before I can play anything again!  So frustrating!!!

I love the new interface, but this is unusable if it won't hold on to my offline files!!

Also, hitting back often times exits the app instead of returning to my playlists.

give us the old app back!

I have exactly this problem. Any of my old offline playlists work fine, but new ones get removed every time Spotify goes offline.its incredibly frustrating as it then eats up my data allowance and I can't listen to anything new without a data connection...

I had to factory reset my HTC Desire S recently and after I reinstalled the Spotify app, I got the same problem. I downloaded two playlists but the next time I opened the app I had no downloaded playlists. It's happened a few times now. I just re-downloaded these playlists and they're still there so we'll see how long they last.
Spotify for android version 0.5.2.87
Android version 2.3.5

Add me to the list.  All of my old playlists work just fine. Anything new randomly "disappears".  I'm not even sure that it is a loss of connection that does it.  I have pretty good 4G connections and very solid 3G connections.

This is a real pain.  I have a playlist with a couple hundred songs in it that has to be downloaded every other day.

This is strange. I thought I was getting the problem because I had factory reset my Desire S but this morning it started happening with my iPod touch. It had all my offline playlists yesterday but today I have none. I'm having to re-download them all.
This is now a major pain in the butt because my iPod touch was my backup music playing device. Now I have no portable devices that can persist downloaded playlists.
Please get this bug fixed Spotify asap!

Forgot... spotify for iOS version 0.5.4.13.g926e1856

it is 11/10/2012 and i am still having this problem!! does anyone know if they're going to sort this issue out?

I'm also still having the issue and it's driving me nuts.  Since originally reporting there have been numerous upgrades to the Spotify App, but it still occurs.

v0.5.3.56

Android 4.0.4

Galaxy Note GT-N7000

Still happening apparently. I've had to download my entire 20gb collection 3 times in 2 weeks!! If it happens again I'm cancelling my direct debit.
