Can't pick a certain song from a playlist

Can't pick a certain song from a playlist

Hello, I'd like to use my spotify app on galaxy watch one but the problem is its playing the first song on my playlist and I find no options to pick a certain song from my list to start with

What if I've a 1000 song playlist, should i press forward like 300 times to get this song?

I don't find the watch app useful is this way

Any help?

Hey there @Yoyassir

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community 🙂

Would you mind sending over a video or some screenshots where we can take a better look at what you're seeing from your end?

You can attach them to your next response to us by using the Insert Photos or Insert Video options in the post editor.

We'll be on the lookout for your reply.

For example here

If i pressed the rap1 playlist it opens the first song in the list

It doesn't open the list itself to pick the song i want

The 3 dots in the right only for shuffle and reply as shown

The spotify logo doesn't do anything if i pressed

What if i need the 51th song in this list, should i press the forward button 51 times? It's impossible

Hey @Yoyassir

Thanks for getting back to us with this info.

Could you let us know the Spotify version currently running on your watch?

We'd also recommend making sure that the device is running it's latest firmware version.

Keep us posted.

Using the latest version of the app as shown in the screenshot

Watch to the latest update and also phone

Had this issue a year ago and i stopped using the app since then

After a year still the same issue

I aslo noticed it works perfectly as a standalone *using the watch as a speaker*

But who would listen to music from watch

Hi there @Yoyassir,

Thank you for your reply and for the screenshot.

Can you try to switch to standalone mode (streaming on the watch) and see if can scroll through the songs in your playlists and pick a track to play?

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Cheers!

Live, love, laugh and listen to music 🙂

works fine, i can see my songs from the list all of them

is it possible to that in remote mode?

Hi again @Yoyassir,

Thanks for keeping in touch.

If you could send us a video of how this is working in the watch in both remote and standalone mode would be very helpful to have a better understanding of what's happening and to see what else we can suggest.

If it's over the size limit to attach it to a reply in the Community, you can upload it to another platform like YouTube or Drive and send us the link. Just make sure it isn't blocked.

We'll be looking out for your reply.
