Can't search for Japanese songs with Romanji

I swear you used to be able to search for Japanese songs using the romanji titles but I haven't been able to and it makes it difficult to find most of my Japanese songs when I don't have access to a Japanese keyboard.

There also seems to be an issue with the search bar not recognizing numbers from a Japanese keyboard. A song I like has both Katakana and the number 14 in the title but does not appear when searching for the number 14 if I use an English keyboard.

I am also having this issue with the browser version and Desktop app.

Hey @ChoiceSuperG,

I'm afraid that not all content on Spotify is indexed. There are multiple factors that come to play in order for a search result to show up such as popularity, number of followers, uniqueness of name, etc. This post (although for playlists; still applicable here) goes more in depth, so feel free to check it out for more info on the matter. For the time being, I recommend using the original song/album/artist titles instead.
