Changes to random song and playlist (not in my library) mid-song

Solved!

Changes to random song and playlist (not in my library) mid-song

I've used Spotify for a long time and today is the first time this has happened, so far 3 times.

Listening to my own playlist with rock music and about 1:00 into a song, my phone is locked and in sleep and spotify changes the song to some French orchestral music.

The same thing happened 2 or 3 other times today throughout the day. Most songs would play okay, but every now and then this would happen. Maybe 1 song in 10? It would change to random playlists and songs that I do not have in my library or have even heard of. It would usually stop playback first after changing the track, and then when I pressed play I noticed it was a completely different song.

All times it has happened, it was the 2nd or third song after not handling my phone, so there was no touchscreen/button input to trigger this.

In the screenshot, the following playlists are not mine nor I have played them purposely:

Naruto Openings

Krippy Kush (Album)

Regeton 2017

Soul Makossa

This Is: AC/DC

It's possible someone else has gained access to your account. Follow these steps to get your account back but if you still have problems, contact spotify here and they'll be able to fix it.

  1. Change your password on your acount profile. If you log in with facebook, you need to change your facebook password instead. Don't use a password which you use on another service and make sure it won't be easy to guess.
  2. On the same page, hit the "Sign out everywhere" button.
  3. You will need to log back in on your devices using the new password.

You can delete the unwanted playlists and recover any which have been deleted.

I have the same thing, and no. No one have my accound and password. I even change my password and the changes keep happening. I have lost my trust in spotify playlists and there for I am looking for other services.

Mine is doing the exact same thing. I've changed all passwords multiple times for spotify ,my email and Facebook. I've logged out all devices before and after. It still is doing the same thing. I've had my phone scanned and it's fine too.
