My Question or Issue

Hello, I accidentally selected Twitter Fleet, instead of Twitter Tweet as my default Twitter sharing option. I would be very grateful on advice in changing it, thank you.

Thanks for getting back in touch and for letting us know that. 

 

Would you mind try reinstalling both apps to check if that makes the difference? 

 

To reinstall the Spotify app, make sure to follow these specific steps.

Welcome to the Community and thanks for getting in touch about this. 

 

Could you let us know if you selected the option to use Twitter Fleet as predetermined from the Twitter app?

 

If so, we recommend contacting Twitter Support for more info on how to change that setting. 

 

If you've selected that option in a different way, could you let us know the steps you followed?

Hi Eni, I replied to this several days ago but it doesnt seem to have saved!  Apologies.

 

So I was in the Spotify app at the time.  I seelcted the 3 dots to the right of the track, then selected share.  I was presented with the usual social media options, whats app, insta, facebook etc.  When I selected Twitter, because my phone had just had an updated it asked me what my preferred use of Twitter share was, direct message, tweet or fleet and I selected fleet accidentally and it has now defaulted to that.  I usually share 4 or 5 tracks a day so any help much appreciated!  Thanks, Rich

My Question or Issue

When you share a song to twitter via Spotify you get the option to either share it by a tweet or a direct message and the option to set one of them as default. I accidentally set the direct message as default and I can't seem to clear it so it asks again. I've uninstalled the Spotify and even twitter app but it won't ask me.
