My Question or Issue

From any screen that at the top right corner the three dots are showing (player, playlist view, album, artist...) in this device with the latest stable version of Spotify (and previouses) the app freezes. The music keeps playing but the UI freezes and can't do anything. The only solution is to force close the app and restart, but I can never access that menu, hence can't share or can't add songs to playlists or things from that menu. The settings (wrench icon) works perfectly.

It must be frustrating that your app keeps freezing. 

 

Could you try a clean reinstall of the app? Let me know if it helps.

 

 

No, nothing. Uninstalled the app completely and re-installed back again and
still same issue. Find attached an screenshot of the veeeeery light dim
when is frozen, like trying to open the modal box menu but it never gets to
open. After a couple of seconds if you haven't stopped it before, the
system alert about the program not responding appears. During all this the
music keeps playing tho.

Also,as update I have just discover that the same problem happens if I try the 3-dotted menu in the right of the songs, for example in the album/artist view. So I could say pretty confident that happens with any 3-dotted menu in the app... What makes me loose a lot of functionality (ie: can't add songs to my playlists from the phone at all)

same here...unusable app...

Fixed with the update of MIUI 11.
