How do i play local files on my android phone?

My Question or Issue

i have added my local files (.mp3) on the spotify desktop app , then i added them to a new playlist , and while my phone and desktop are on the same network i cant play/download  the local files on my phone. I tried everything thats listed online , but it still isnt working , while the local songs do play on the Desktop app , on my phone the songs are faded out like how unavailable songs are and everytime i try to download the playlist it shows an error.
Any Help ?
