Is my Android using data from streaming on my Desktop?

Is my Android using data from streaming on my Desktop?

My Question or Issue:::

I have Windows 10 and downloaded the App on my desktop so that I can stream music. I also have the app on my phone. Same username and log in on both. When I play my music on my Desktop, my phone shows Spotify as open with it marked that I am listening on my Desktop but I can control it from my phone it looks like. What I want to know, does this mean that my phone app is drawing data as well? If so, how do I stop my phone from mirroring the desktop?!

Hey @okonskae,

Thanks for getting in touch with us and welcome to the Community.

It might be using a part of the mobile data because the two devices are connected. You can head here and give the steps a go and turn on the offline mode. That way you can play your downloaded music and podcasts without using a network.

Hope this was helpful for you. If you have more questions, we are here for you.
