Japanese lyrics broken in 8.6.8.1094, too many newline characters?

My Question or Issue

English lyrics seems to be fine, while Japanese lyrics is appears to be newlined several times each line break. Since Japanese characters are at least 2x as wide as English, this practically renders the lyrics feature unusable for some songs.
