Latest android update menu doesnt work

You can search a song to play but if you select the menu that offers the option to add song to playlist, go to artist or go to album simply doesn't work. You can click on the option to add to playlist but nothing happens. This started happening after the last update. I even reinstalled the app and multiple phone restarts.

I found this in the troubleshooting. Worked for me. I was using Twilight, it's annoying that I can't have my dimmer when listening to music at night, but I'll have to live with it.

The new menu uses an overlay on your display. If you are using a screen filter such as Lux, CF Lumen or Twilight then this can intefere with the menu operation causing it to close and not do anything. You should be able to add an exception to the filter application within its settings to not apply itself when the Spotify application is open.
