How do I get music to stop playing on wrong device? I'm not with the laptop. I already set only play on devices on same network.

Thanks for the post.

This would usually happen if you change the playback device from the Spotify Connect icon in the app. If you've played music on your laptop last with Spotify Connect open and the laptop selected and then later open Spotify on your phone, it's expected that music will play on the laptop. 

If playback switches to the laptop randomly, it's possible that someone else has gained access to your account. It's best you go through the steps in this article to secure your account, by logging out everywhere and back in only on device you're currently using and updating your password. 

If the issue continues after this, let us know exactly when it happens.
