On Google Maps quick menu choice (view Playlists) not working anymore!

Hi! During navigation mode on Google Maps the Spotify bar is shown with music playing (screenshot) . In the past if I clicked on bar it opens a quick menu to choose a Playlist. Now instead it opens directly Spotify app. This is annoying since navigation app go in picture in picture window mode each time. How can I see again the quick menu? Thanks.

I can confirm that I get the same behavior on my mobile device and currently there is no way to return to the previous view.

We can see how this change can influence the way you use Spotify with Google Maps and we'd suggest posting an idea with the steps here to share your feedback about the change and describe the functionality you'd like to have.

Hi! I found out that the issue about slowliness was caused by a third-party app, dynamicspot https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jamworks.dynamicspot

The app is vedy good, but with the version I had each time there is a switch between maps and Spotify it slows things. Anyway still the Spotify it's opened, but this is a wanted behavior. Hope it's helpful!
