My Question or Issue

While on my phone trying to play podcasts it skips so it sounds like an old CD player be jostled, only worse because it's like every other letter is silent while the person is talking.

I have tried restarting; uninstalling and restarting; clearing data and reinstalling followed by a restart; and clearing data, uninstalling, restarting, and then reinstalling the app. None of these things have worked. For a brief period of time the podcasts were also skipping on my laptop (Windows), however now they play correctly on my laptop.

But on my phone the podcasts are still skipping. This is happening with all the podcasts in my library, and podcasts that aren't in my library.
