Hey,
1 week ago I switched from the Galaxy S2 to the S4. I was always happy with Spotify on PC + S2, so I thought I would be on S4.
The volume difference between Spotify on S2 and S4 is big.
Its just too LOW on the S4, but sometimes (1/10 of times) the volume is normal.
Anyone who got the same problem? Anyone who could help me?
Thx for your time,
Dennis
Is it any better if you turn off any equalisers, including spotify's audio effects and samsungs adapt sound?
Not really, im not using any audio effects in spotify and the other thing didnt helped too =(.
Any other ideas? I mean its the same app, just on another phone, how can there a volume difference?
As the samsung music player has the same volume as in S2
Is it any louder on the stock media player? What are you listening to music through?
I really hope that I understand your question in the correct way 😄
Yea, the stock media player is noticeable louder than spotify. The last question is a bit hard to understand for me 😛
I listen on my car, via AUX. When I connect my S2 to my car, spotify volume is great, on S4, too low. =(
But thank you for your help already!
That's exactly what I was asking, thanks 🙂
Erm I'm pretty sure I've seen this before - possibly in one of the android forums. I dont think it's a spotify problem but you can check by playing an ordinary MP3 file using Samsung's Music app on your S4. If that is a lot louder, please shout. If it too is quiet then there's not a lot you can do I'm afraid.
What do you mean with that sentence? - by playing an ordinary MP3 file using Samsung's Music app on your S4
Play music from a source other than spotify. There is a music player called "Music" play something using that through your in-car system so we can see if the problem is just with spotify.
Alright, I tested it today again.
Its really random if its loud or not. On morning it was pretty low, but when i went for lunch it was at the normal volume again, after changing the song it was LOW again. (SAMSUNG STOCK PLAYER)
What is the problem? Do you have any idea what I could do to solve the problem?
@dennis199 I think that what's happening here may be a mismatch between the S4's audio out and car audio's audio in impedances which will make the music seem quiet. Unfortunately that's not something I can help with. You could try the support site for your car audio or Samsung to see if they can suggest anything.
This morning i went to work and when i put my phone to the car it was NORMAL volume.
When i clicked to the next song, it went to LOW volume? (on SAMSUNG MUSIC PLAYER)
When I switched to spotify, it was low too.
Im crying 😞 This makes me sad
