Smart shuffle turned off, on a premium account but still plays?

Smart shuffle turned off, on a premium account but still plays?

My Question or Issue

I have premium account and this issue has only recently popped up, but after turning off smart shuffle on the playlist it still plays a random song that is not even from my playlist or something I've ever listened to after the one I've clicked on my playlist finishes, I've tried adding more songs to stop the recommendations, it is at 17 songs, but I don't want to add unnecessary songs just to get rid of a feature that is supposed to be turned off. I have searched for smart shuffle in my settings in case I need to disable it there but there isn't one in the settings. I pay for premium and this is disappointing and annoying when all I want to do is focus with some music.

Hey @Elka_rii,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

If the Smart shuffle feature seems to be turned off but it still adds tracks to your playback, we'd recommend turning it off and back on slowly to make sure this is not a possible visual glitch and the feature was still activated.

If the issue persists, we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app on your device by following the steps mentioned in this article. This is often an overlooked step, but it can be helpful in getting rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.

Lastly, include in your next response the OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.

We'll be waiting for your response.
