So many bugs that I cancelled

Signed up for Spotify premium with a month free. I was astounded to find so many bugs in the supposedly "released" version of your Android App.

Based on my use of other music player app, the following I would expect to be pretty standard features:

• Widget size is only 4x1. My desktop is 5x5 so this looks stupid
• Ability to select multiple items in a list
• Adding new track to library from notification
• Ability to have different layouts within the app itself. 

The following is a list of actual bugs that I have found. I would suggest that the bugs aren't just limited to this list!:

• If I'm on a different app and an advert pops up then Spotify stops playing
• Goes offline for no apparent reason. Switching between WiFi and 4g?
• Generally shutting down randomly for no apparent reason.

I just can't believe that you would ever release an app which clearly isn't fit for purpose. It definitely feels like Android is the forgotten cousin of Spotify. Did you even do any proper testing before you released the app? 

Maybe I'll come back and try again in a few months. But without a freemium option, I doubt this so I won't be able to do any testing of my own. In any case I'm already building up my GPM library now.

That has no bugs at all!

Adios Spotify. It's been short. And painful.

We won't be able to troubleshoot everything that you mentioned here, but we suggest you search for the relevant threads which concern the issues you are encountering.

Seeing as some issues are specific to the device and OS that our users have, it would help for you to leave these details when you post on the relevant thread.
