Spotify Slow/Freezing - Playlists wont stay synced with my Samsung 128gb Evo+ Micro SD with Sony XZ1

Hi Everyone,

I recently got the new Sony XZ1 Compact phone, and got an 128gb Samsung Evo+ UHS Micro SD Card to go in it, so that I could sync a lot of my playlists in High Quality on my phone and take them around with me.

Since Spotify has been using the SD card the app is running slowly/freezing/crashing, and the playlists have to re-sync many times throughout the day.

The app works fine on my phones internal memory and normaly quality, but obviously the point of a high-powered SD card was so that I could store all of my high-quality music on it for listening.

The SD card has synced fine and been formatted to my phone. It seems that the issue is with the app. The phone and the SD card are both high quality so I'm confused as to why it's not working well. Anyone have this issue and know how to fix it?
