Description
When I launch Spotify, I get the bar across the top and the menu icon (3 lines) on the left. (image) Spoify never passes this. Eventually I get the "Spotify isn't responding". I have uninstalled, reinstalled, rebooted, etc and nothing can correct the issue.
What are the steps you took to get to the error/issue?

Well it seems like its all fixed now. I did restart it ealier, but I also cleared my cache. Appreciate the response. Thank you.
Have you tried opening the app in landscape mode or with WiFi turned off?
I have a Nexus 7 and have no issue (although I am running rooted stock).

I have tried the following:
1) Wifi Off
2) Wifi Off & Landscape
3) Wifi On & Landscape
All options yield the same results. The all just have a black screen with the menu button in the top left. =(

The exact same thing just started to happen to me yesterday. Worked perfectly for so long too.
have you tried a clean reinstallation?
I've tried about 3 times now. Mine isn't rooted by the way
have you tried rebooting the device? sometimes that helps alot

I have installed/uninstalled on at least 3 occasions. I have also cleared data/cache for the application. None of that have corrected the issue. I will try to factory reset the device.
