Spotify cannot be operated on the lock screen ( Anroid 11)

Hello Community,

following problem:

I can no longer operate Spotify on my lock screen. As soon as I reinstall the app, it works again. I also noticed that the "song picture" then disappeared, but that was displayed before.
I cleared the cache and tried the various settings on Android 11 (battery optimization, widget, etc.).

Does anyone have the same problem and can help me?

I don't want to have to reinstall the app every time.

Welcome to the Community and thanks for reaching out about this. 

You mentioned that you've already reinstalled the app, but would you mind going through the steps of a clean reinstall, as it's more thorough than a regular one.

Additionally, we'd recommend making sure that Spotify has all necessary permissions enabled and that it is allowed to run in the background.

If this doesn't do the trick, could you send over the exact make/model, operating system and Spotify version of your device?
