Spotify equalizer - how save settings in the one dedicated to your own preferences?

Solved!

Spotify equalizer - how save settings in the one dedicated to your own preferences?

Seems you have to remember and redo the settings each time you use another pre-set variety in equalizer menu? Or can you save somehow?

Thanks!

On IOS (not sure if this works on Android) if you keep the equalizer on when you close the app, it should still work when you open it back up.

The equaliser Spotify opens is the stock Android one (or after-market from Play Store if you have one installed). I'm sure the Android EQ saves the values, but I use Viper4Android and not really used the stock EQ

Many thanks for answer ! Yes, works on Android. But.... Trying stay on personal eq that way now. Just that quite broad taste in music, and for some the preset ones better. Then I want to shift back without closing, or logging in with app, with settings I made still there until choose to remove or change. As can create personal eq profiles on PC. Even if only one on Spotify I've set it to fit kind of music plays mostly.

Thanks for concrete tip! Tried but seem to fail unfortunately. Am I correct
the phone has to be rooted to use this app, or rather install drivers
needed that I'm missing. Tech wise I'm kind of "middle range", could
probably manage since usually find my way with bit of tinkering, but have
avoided rooting since not totally sure what I'm doing. Tech wise enough to
know that my limitations might lead to probs. 🙂 Or phone getting too old
to have them preinstalled? Galaxy s2 (maybe reached its limits, holding on
to since given me minimum grief, great screen resolution re text, pic
quality, size and good sound re using it as a "regular" phone actually
talking to people, which I oddly still find important 🙂 ...)

The ordinary phone eq unfortunately does not save personal settings if
switch between them and the preset ones during a session, but as other
contributor said, it does save to next session if close app with that
choice checked/active when closing. At least work like that on my phone.

Can add though, that guess you combined with earlier contributor actually gave me the answer. The stock one just works like that. Have to try find another eq, even if might not be able to use the one you prefer Daniel. So thanks to you both!

There are lots of opinions, best for you to decide which suits your needs/expertise. Articles like the one linked to below should give you a good guide:
