My Question or Issue
Hi all
I connect my phone in car with the Bluetooth device with send the music to my car radio.
When I push on "next" button if the Bluetooth device to pass the next song (with or without the shuffle mode, it's the same problem) and it plays the same song over and over again.
Once I tired 15 times to pass the next song in my saved songs list, with using Bluetooth device, and 15 times it played the same.
But if I use the android application button of Spotify on my phone, it passes the next one.
There is any way to resolve this annoying problem?
WHILE DRIVING IT'S DANGEROUS TO TAKE THE PHONE AND OPEN THE SPOTIFY APPLICATION TO PUSH THE NEXT BUTTON EVERY TIME!!!
Hi there @M_R23
Thanks for reaching out. Does this happen with any device connected via Bluetooth? If you haven't tested with another device, please do so if you can. And when did this issue first start occuring? Also if you could send us a video showcasing the behaviour, that would be of massive help.
With this information, we’d be happy to investigate.
Keep us posted.
It was ok after I wrote this problem here. But since today is the same thing.
That's happening with all Bluetooth devices.
I already reset the application in my Android but nothing changes.
Any help please?
Hey @M_R23,
Thanks for getting back to us with this info.
I get that it was working for a moment for you, but now it's not functioning as expected again. That's strange behavior for sure. Maybe it's worthwhile to perform a clean reinstall of the Spotify app, as this is more thorough than the normal one and ensures that no cached data will cause interference with the new installation of your app. See if this will make any difference and return things to normal for you.
If the above doesn't help, then please come back to us with the exact make, model and OS version of your device as well as the Spotify version you've reinstalled. Also, as @Joan mentioned above, a video of the experience will be very helpful for our investigation.
Let us know how things work out, we'll be keeping an eye out for your reply.
Hi, Joan,
Looks like I may be having the same issue as the above gentleman. I have no issues playing Spotify while listening on my Laptop. However, the Bluetooth in my car will occasionally start the same song again.
What's more odd, when the next song DOES play, it shows a different song/artist title.
Thoughts?
Thank you.

Hey @BarbieInTX,
Thanks for posting in the Community.
What kind of a Bluetooth connected device are you using? We need the model.
Keep us posted,
Cheers!
This happens to me but a little different, no matter what I’m listening too before ie podcast, as soon as I turn my car on and Bluetooth connects it plays riot girl by good charlotte so every time I drive somewhere I have to go back into my phone and put my podcast back on.
Hey @Benitos_carlos,
Welcome to the Community and thank you for joining the conversation.
Just to be on the same page, have you tried the troubleshooting steps suggested previously by @Kiril? If so, and the issue persists, include in your next response the make, model, and OS version of the device connected to your car's Bluetooth, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.
Also, and if possible; could any of you record a short video where we can take a better look? You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert Video option in the post editor. You can also upload it to YouTube or Google Drive and share the link with us (make sure the video has the permissions for anyone to see it).
We'll be on the lookout.
