Spotify premium, yet all tracks are unavailable

Spotify premium, yet all tracks are unavailable

I just signed up for spotify premium, as well as a 30-day trial, but on my droid the songs all still say theyre 'unavailable'. Any ideas? When I check my account it says I'm an active spotify premium subscriber...

Hi there,

try logging out of the Android app and back in a couple of times. If that fails try logging out and restarting your phone before logging back in. Hope that does it

So the exact same thing has happened to me, did a 2 day free trial of mobile on my tablet, everything worked fine. un-installed when it ran out (yesterday). I decided I like it so much i'm going to get premium. To mysuprise there is a 30 day free trial! So i re-install (manually, i have a nextp7 android 2.3) Install goes exactly the same as the first time. I load the app up, log in, and ALL the songs are grey and it says 'the track is not available' for EVERYTHING. I tried restarting, logging in and out multiple times. None of this worked. I am aa fairly tech-savy individual but I just cant figure this out.

PLEASE HELP

Thank you.

I read in another post about that happeing because of the phone/profile not 'thinking' its premium yet. So I'm going to give it 24 hours for the systems and servers to update my information before I start getting all bent outta shape 🙂

Hi Anthonygiverson. Try a complete wipe and reinstall - follow the instructions in PerBonomi's thread here to do this http://community.spotify.com/t5/Mobile-Android/Trouble-with-the-latest-release-Let-us-know/td-p/8636...

So I tried what the page says, to the letter, no dice man. Thanks for trying though. Like I said, Im just going to assume its on a delayed update of some kind and give it 24 hours. The worst part, I have a 90 minute drive with no music now 😞

The last three threads in this forum are all for this issue so maybe there is an issue with spotify servers. Hopefully it will sort itself out overnight. Not the best introduction to the service for people with the free trial huh?
