The Spotify app causes my phone (Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 pro 4G) to reboot.

When I open the Spotify app (any versions newer than 8.10.9.722) it causes my phone to reboot. I have tried reinstalling it and clearing the data but it still does that whenever I open it. Same thing happens with older versions but only when I play music.

Just to confirm, have you installed an SD card on your phone? Some users with similar issues have posted that reinstalling the app without the SD card makes the difference. Remove it and reinstall the app in the internal memory of your device. Make sure to use the app without inserting the SD card again.

• A screenshot of the exact Spotify version you're running on the affected device from both the Play Store and the Spotify app itself.
• Does this happen if you open a different account on the affected device? You can ask for the account of a relative or a friend to open it on your device and check.
• Did you notice if this started to happen after a specific event, such as an OS update?
