My Question or Issue

On my Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro I haven't been able to listen to music on Spotify for 3 weeks because everything sounds choppy and looks like a scratched CD. Apparently it is a specific Spotify error since I have tried to listen to music with Telegram and Youtube and this does not happen to me, I have also noticed how the audio quality has dropped compared to Telegram and I am using high quality audio devices (Sony, JBL, Harman Kardon) and paying for the Spotify service. It does not seem to me that to be paying for the service it has these drawbacks. If you don't know how to fix the app's problems, it's as easy as removing the premium plan and making the service free. That in fact the Telegram service is free and works much better than Spotify, on Telegram the music is heard very clearly, with all its nuances, the audio never stutters and the volume is more powerful than Spotify. The recommendations that you have given me did not solve my problem and the recommendations that you have given me are **bleep** better than the creator of Spotify and his staff selling disposable tissues on the street. I'm sick of paying for Spotify and that it works for me like the **bleep** that gave birth to it and the support only gives me useless and stupid recommendations that don't**bleep** at all. Thanks for the post.

 

We'd recommend doing a clean reinstall of the Spotify app, following this guide. In most cases, such issues can be caused by corrupted app files, which should get resolved with the reinstallation.

 

After that go to the app Settings and check the the Audio quality settings. To get the best quality out of your streams set this to 'Very High'. 

 

Note that if you're streaming music through a connect device such as a smart speaker or sound system and the quality is still low and choppy, you might want to re-connect your device to the Spotify account and check your network connection.
