Unable to play my own playlists!

Solved!

Unable to play my own playlists!

I cannot play any of my own playlists. As soon as I choose one I am returned to my home screen.

Playing a playlist i subscribe to works great, also streaming works (even streaming the exact same album I made a playlist of...)

Have tried uninstall and deleted all spotify related files through file manager.

On Galaxy Nexus 4.0.4.

Ideas?

Hello Richard, thank you for getting back to us!

Yes I can confirm that the issue still exists, and my username is kti^

Looking forward to a fix!

Hey everyone, word from the tech guys is that we've been migrating users across to some new playlist servers. This is to help increase stability and so on.

It might just be then that you're in the last bunch of users being moved across and we haven't quite got around to you yet (the fact you've all got non-alphanumeric characters in your usernames suggests to me you might be part of the same bracket, or something similar).

The advice I've been given is to try out a reinstall of the app now, just to make sure everything's ok and the app recognises the new playlist server if you've been migrated across.

Let us know how you get on.

Hello again!

I just cleared my cache, cleared the app data, uninstalled, and then reinstalled.

The problem is still there, when choosing my own playlists i get thrown to the home screen.

Ok thanks for trying. We'll keep you updated.

Richard, thanks for keeping users updated!

I've tried to uninstall and reinstall as well, but was unsuccessful in getting the tracks to display in my playlists. Btw my username is reddevil#10

I'm having the same issue - my username is [steak].

i have the same problem, i cant play my own list, my username is ruben'gb. Please repair this fix early, or a lot of people will leave spotify.

When I log in the screen turns black and it says "spotify has been stopped" and every like 10th time it starts but then I cant see any of my playlists, it just says "loading.." or is just blank.
I've reboothed my phone (samsun galaxy S2), I've uninstalled the program 50 times..

Don't know what to do more.. My username is erikadaman whit no unusual signs.

Solved? NOPE, still not working! Username: [lampyridae]

@erikadaman - you have a different issue. Can you start your own thread

Hi, this is a cross-post from another thread, turns it is a similar (enough) problem.

I am able to access my playlists, but they all show as empty, like there is no songs in my playlists. When i access spotify on my computers the playlist and the tracks show as normal.

I have a # in my username, and this may be the cause of the error.

Please see this thread also.

Thanks in advance for any help

Prozacna - this is exactly the issue I have. I can see my playlists, and they show a song count - but when I open them they are empty just like in your original thread

I have a ? in my username - seems like special characters may be a cause, but who knows.

i still get this, can see the song count on my playlists, but when i "open" them its nothing there, but there playlists ive subscribed from other people works fine.

the special character ive got in my username is # at the end.

Yes it does, atleast for me it did, just updated and it worked right away! Thank you all for reporting, and the techteam for fixing!

Version 0.5.1.15 looks to have solved my issue with the empty playlists

Not for me.  Just updated and it's still acting up.

New update fixed my issues too! thanks

Version 0.5.1.15 fixed my playback issues. Thanks for fixning it.....

seems to have fixed my playlist issues as well, we'll see if it has the same issues of stopping playback.

Thanks!
