i have a issue with my spotify any advice would be greatly recived

ive bought a licence for Spotify and love it I have 1 issue I have a Samsung note 10.1 and a cell phone Samsung galaxy mini 2 I have Spotify on both but there's a issue when i log on Samsung note 10.1 and use Spotify the cell phone Samsung galaxy mini 2 acts like remote it wont act independent of the cell phone Samsung galaxy note 10.1 
can you advise is there a setting to separate them so there no longer linked my son has them both and his stops logs off he can switch between the 2.hope you can help me Cyril

Hello. It sounds like you have spotify connect which can do this. The answer is to start playing a track on "device A" then go to the now playing screen and tap the connect speaker icon at the bottom. This takes you to the connect screen and will display both of your devices with "device B" selected. Tap "device A" and it will now play through the device in your hand.
