problem controlling volume on my new samsung galaxy watch 4

i bought a new samsung galaxy watch 4 and i am not able to control volume with the spotify app. The spotify app is not connecting as your phone but connecting as my device name. this may be the issue. please help me in solving this problem

Could you let us know if you've already tried to log out > restart your device > log back in? It's also a good idea to try clearing your cache to remove any old files that might be causing issues with the app's performance. 

 

If you still experience this, we'd appreciate it if you share the make, model and OS version of your devices along with the Spotify version you're currently running on them. Any screenshots (or a quick video of the issue) you can provide will also be helpful to identify what's causing this behavior.
