"For you" suggestions while driving

My Question or Issue

When viewing the Spotify app on my car screen (2020 CR-V), Spotify has always just displayed the current song playing, unless I navigate to something else. 

Recently, the app has added a second option on that default display- a "for you" screen with suggestions of podcasts to listen to. It switched back and forth between displaying the ain't and displaying these suggestions, and it's really irritating and distracting while I'm driving. 

It does this even when I'm in offline mode and my phone's data is turned off. 

Is there any way to turn this off?

Could you let us know your Spotify app version, as well as how you're connecting your phone to the vehicle's infotainment system? We'd also appreciate it if you could send us a short video recording (or a link to one) where the described issue is visible 🙂

The version is 9.0.22.543

I'm connecting via USB. 

I haven't been able to get a video since it only happens when I'm driving and I pretty much always drive alone 😕 

If I have someone driving with me soon, I will have them take a video.
