shuffle wont work

for some reason my shuffle wont work on either pc or android.

i reinstalled, logged out and back in, checked if there's anything in the queue (there isnt).

doesnt make a differnce if shuffle is on or off, it plays in order of how the songs are listed in the playlist.

if i play a song further down in the playlist and press next it just skips back to the beginning.

Hey Philip,

To get ACTUAL Shuffle on your android for all of your songs, you need to "Sort By Title", and then shuffle. If you "Sort By Recently Added" and then shuffle, Spotify will only shuffle the most recent ~50-100 songs. "Sort By Title" will shuffle your entire library.

To filter your songs, you need to scroll up in you "SONGS" page, and select the hamburger menu icon next to the filter search bar.

A similar thing happened to me so let me know how it goes 👍🏾

In the meantime here are some troubleshooting steps you can try: 

• Log out and log back in the app 
• Transfer the playback from the phone to the computer or vice versa, and see if this works 
• Try a clear re-install of the app, as this usually helps for many ongoing issues
