Spotify Crashing For No Reason

So I currently use this version: 1.0.3.98.g5ef498fc

I had the most recent version of the Spotify client, but it kept crashing for no reason.

I did a clean reinstall (including deleting the com.Spotify.client and application support for Spotify) with the current version. However, that kept crashing, so I did another clean reinstall with an older version.

However, this version also keeps crashing when I try listen to playlist radio, or just simply browse. I often get black screens on the 'browse' page when it decides to no longer load things.

I've had these problems across many different versions of the client and I don't know what the problem is. All my other Mac friends have no troubles with Spotify on their computers, my Mac seems to just either not like it, or vice versa.

Is there a fix or am I doomed forever to have a crashing spotify client?

Could you please confirm the OSX on your computer? It's important that you are downloading the latest version of Spotify so that we can continue to help you troubleshoot and fix the issue. 

Please do a clean reinstallation with the latest version on the website and let us know if that problem continues. Thanks!

My Mac OSX is Yosemite 10.10.1

I've done multiple clean reinstalls, two on the current version of the client. However, that didn't fix the issue.

I'll give it one more go with the new version, but shall update this post if it does or doesn't work.

Yeah, unfortunately not dice on the clean reinstall on the latest version.

Still broke, Spotify has always struggled on my Mac for some unknown reason, regardless of the client version.

Bummer. Looks like no spotify for me. 😞
