I am experiencing issues deleting my account data due to persistence.

I am experiencing issues deleting my account data due to persistence.

I authenticated my Spotify account on a friend's computer, and now my account is being cached in their browser. Despite not saving my login credentials in the browser, my account is still being displayed. What steps can I take to resolve this issue?

Hey @Rakete1, welcome to the Spotify Community! 🎵

Once you log into a session, it stays logged in unless you click log out. But there is a way to log out of the session even if you do not have access to the device.

  1. Log in to your account on Spotify.com.
  2. Head over to your account overview page
  3. Scroll down and click Sign out everywhere
  4. This should log you out of all the sessions, including the browser

Note that this may remove your offline downloads as well, but you can always save content offline again.

Let me know how it goes. 🙂
