Why are my recent searches only showing up in a drop down on desktop?

I used to be able to look at and browse the searches I made in a grid view on the desktop version of spotify. I now only get a scrolling drop down box after a recent update 1/4/2025. Is there a way to get the grid view back on the desktop ui?

This recent change aims to align the desktop and mobile experience more closely. At Spotify, we're often testing and launching improvements to the app. This means you might occasionally see something your friend doesn’t, or get a new feature to try temporarily.

While it's not possible to revert to the previous experience at this time, your feedback on this is greatly appreciated, thanks for sharing it here. Make sure you're always running the latest version of Spotify so you don't miss out on any future updates.
