Apple Music has it, but they use on-device processing to remove the vocals, which has limited the feature to being only accessible in their latest devices with processors that are powerful enough. But, on the bridge side, I do remember reading about some people getting access to Spotify's karaoke last year. And, as far as I know, it wasn't hardware based processing. So, if it is implemented in Spotify, please don't take any ideas from Apple Music. Make it such that it is accessible on all devices.

You do realize that they have to add this to every single song.

Unlike Apple Music, Spotify runs on underpowered devices where Artifical Intelligence that removes the vocals (like how Apple Music does it), is not available.

And the only other option is to add this to every single song (which obviously isn't gonna work)

It would make sense if Spotify allowed it to work on a smaller scale (like maybe only 10ish thousand songs get a no-vocal counterpart)

How fun would it be to sing songs together? If you know karaoke, you'll get the gist of it. Basically, for the the karaoke feature, songs can be searched as just instrumentals or minus ones. You'll can also make a playlist for the songs. While playing the music, you can access the lyrics as well. Karaoke is a widely known fun activity for many Ph home- so maybe Spotify can make this bonding activity accessible anytime, anywhere!
