Ads still playing while song is on repeat

I've been using Spotify Xbox for a good while now and it's been great. I've had songs on repeat the whole time and I don't get ads, well, I never got ads, now I do. I don't know why but I've tried everything, uninstalling and reinstalling didn't work, I made a new Spotify account and that didn't work. I tried putting it on repeat through my phone, but no luck. I've been using Spotify on Xbox for a long time with no ads while on repeat and I'm not sure why it's doing it now, any help? I'm using Xbox series X

The new behavior you've described is the expected behavior of an account without a Premium subscription.

Ah, I see. Is this new? As I had mentioned I have never had this happen and I've been using Spotify for a long time
