Albums and singles list scrolls back to the top when I exit album

Albums and singles list scrolls back to the top when I exit album

Back in 2022 your team fixed an issue with albums/ singles to keep it from scrolling to the top after exiting an album... it's doing it again. Mobile and PC. If you go past the 45th album/ single and enter it, then return to the list it awkwardly glitches back to the top... this is an intolerable issue. You have resolved this in the past after users relentlessly asked for it in 2021 and 2022... why is it back again? Help!

Hi there @jabezmarie,

Thanks for reaching out to us and welcome to the Spotify Community!

As we haven't been able to reproduce the issue on our end, we'd need some more info to check what's causing it. You mentioned this happening with albums and singles, does it occur with playlists as well? Can you also check if it's the same in the Web Player

It's also a good idea to ask someone to log in their account on one of your devices to see if they experience the same issue. This way we can double-check if it's account-related. Performing a clean reinstall is also worth it to make sure you're running the newest version and to clear any corrupted cache.

We'd really appreciate it if you can also send us a screen recording showing this issue, so that we can have a closer look. If the file is too large to attach, you can upload it to Google Drive (make sure to allow general access to the file) or as an unlisted YouTube video.

Keep us posted.

I am having the same issue on a Galaxy s23, started recently.  I tried the clean reinstall as suggested but the problem persists.  It is untenable and making spotify borderline unusable.

Here is a screen recording-
