Issue

I'm not able anymore to reproduce music or podcast from my Spotify account to my Echo Dot. I've already contacted Amazon Help Center, already reinitialized the Echo Dot and unlinked/linked my Spotify account.
I've problems only with Spotify, no other apps.

The Echo Dot recognize the Spotify account and searches, but when I choose a song, it remains mute, and after a few seconds, it stops.

Amazon suggests to contact you.

More than that... Under linked devices from the Spotify app, I can't find anymore the Echo Dot connection (but I can see it under the settings).

Thanks for reaching out to us 🙂

 

We'd suggest you give these steps a go and run a clean reinstall. That way you can make sure the app is up-to-date and the cache is not causing any issues. You can also set Spotify as default device.

 

@edlavallee It's a good idea to try disconnecting the Spotify account in the Alexa App or on desktop here. Then you can log out of the Alexa app and reconnect.
