Autoplay/Similar song function not working for TV apps: LGTV WEBOs/Apple TV 4k

Why do the Spotify TV apps not function the same as the desktop or phone version of Spotify. When I search for a song in Spotify using my phone app, after I select the song, the song immediately begins to play and after the song finishes playing, Spotify will then proceed to play similar music.

When I search for a song using either the LG TV webOS version of the Spotify app or the Apple TV 4K version of the app, after searching for and selecting the song, the app will direct me to the album playlist of the artist from where the song originates from. So, the TV apps will direct you to the album playlist when searching for a song and will then continue to play the remaining songs in the album.

It actually directs you to the album where you have to click on the song again and then it begins to play the rest of the album. Why does it do this? Why cant the TV apps function the same as the phone and desktop app?
