Care home resident with Dementia

A friend is in a care home with dementia and is unable to operate a device. I'm looking for a method/device to play him playlists remotely when I'm not on the same wifi network. If I get a device (Audizio Rimini or similar?) with Spotify connect and connect it to the care home wifi will this work? Or maybe a simple turn on and play solution that the care home staff could work in a very quick and simple fashion? Music that he remembers and loves engages him quickly. TiA

Have you considered using a smart speaker with voice control? You can connect a Spotify account with a smart speaker. That way, you can start music with a simple voice command.
