Hello,

This question relates to Spotify for artists, but I understood from a previous post that it can be posted here.

1) We have a band called Jug Band Colline Metallifere. We have recently published some songs on Spotify through a distrokid plan.

The songs appear to be correctly released in association to our profile:

2) The distrokid plan is owned by -moderator edit-, one of our band members. The distrokid plan allows two slots, and -moderator edit- agreed to use one of these slots to publish the Jug Band Colline Metallifere songs. -moderator edit- already has an artist page on Spotify for artists.

We created a Spotify account for -moderator edit-. -moderator edit- then sent us an invite to Spotify for artists.

We accepted this invite. At this point, we can access Spotify for artists as -moderator edit-, but we are brought to the other page.

 

3) We are a bit confused, because we do not understand how to further customize our own Jug Band Colline Metallifere profile, either as a standard Spotify user

or as an artist...the only piece of information we can change is the "first name" and "last name".


4) ..at this stage, we do not understand if we did not follow the right process to enter the "artists" space (e.g. should the invitation we received had been sent from -moderator edit- as a label, rather than -moderator edit- as an artist?)... or any other issue...

We understand that once the artist page is set up correctly, we should be able to add more pictures, and provided more customization which at this stage we can only do for the -moderator edit- artist rather than for the Jug Band Colline Metallifere artist...so there is something not working as expected.

While it is indeed true that you can post all of your Spotify-related inquiries on the forum here, we can't really give you the answers you require.
As your questions are specific and in regard to your artist profile, the best way to approach this would be to reach out to our support folks for artist accounts directly 🙂 You can do so by following this link here.
